In the absence of further richer and appetizing ingredients, they used to enrich bread with spices and seasonings, easily accessible.   2.  ingredients you can pour dried tomatoes, anchovies, capers, or "cosa cavaddu" cheese.

  3. Usually, Pani Cunzatu is made with fresh-baked bread still warm. If the bread is not warm, we use to slighly warm it in the hoven before serving, especially if you decided to use cheese.
